In my previous blog entry where I launched a link to my Wiki entries about the 2007 Federal Election, I mentioned an Opinion Poll out today that suggests that John Howard might lose his seat of Bennelong.

Since then, Crikey have published an article on the poll here.

And Roy Morgan have published the detailed results here.

I had wondered what the "undecided" number was in the poll. It turns out that only 3% of respondents were undecided: which increases the credibility of the Poll. However, I still think it unlikely that Howard will follow in the tradition of Stanley Bruce in 1929 as a Prime Minister who lost his seat. There's a long time between now and the Federal Election for John Howard to provide funding for new child care centres or give roads funding for the residents of Ryde, Denistone and Epping.
