eProductivity: getting on top of "Today"

Last week I accomplished a lot. But each Friday I'm required to enter details into a Timesheet system, and I'm pretty good at forgetting to do it. This leads to me getting a "gentle" reminder sent to me and my Manager on Saturday mornings.Which is a long way of saying that although my initial usage of eProductivity has left me with a good display of my Projects and Activities, looking at the Today view to decide what to do seemed a little bit "lacking". (I was switching to the Projects and Actions view.)
My Today view was missing actions that were due today. Which seemed a little odd.
I've now discovered why. There's a configuration option that you need to turn on allow things to show up. All carefully described in the eProductivity Help, here. (Click "Set all to Advanced".)
Actions and Projects both have Start and Due dates. The above setting will cause them to show up in your Today view when their date arrives. Now that I've clicked the option, my Today view is now much more useful.
Ticklers
As I was investigating how to manage things by date I also found an option for the display of Tickler items.
You can set dates for "Tickler" items. If you click down on the Tickler view, you'll see a list of your Tickler items. These are things that aren't actions at the moment but you want to be reminded about them in the future because they might turn into actions. The list is one way to look at them, but within eProductivity you can also look at them as a calendar display. That's described here. (Once enabled, the "Tickler Calendar" option appears as the second item from the top.)
